V vinorodni Sloveniji se je v Istri, ob topli mediteranski obali, rodila klet Vinakoper. Njeni vinogradi segajo od strmega Kraškega roba do morskega obrežja in prek valovitih, igrivih gričev, globoko v notranjost, v samo srce Istre. V vinogradih Vinakoper je 70 % rdečih sort. Na rdečem prestolu je vladar avtohtoni Refošk, iz katerega pridelujemo kot kri gosto rubinasto vino. Slovenska Istra je po

njem dobila ime, Dežela Refoška. Belim vinom pa kraljuje avtohtona Malvazija. // In Istria, Slovenia - the wine-making country, along warm Mediterranean coast, the wine cellar Vinakoper was born. Its vineyards extend in the area embraced by the Karst edge, vivid coastline and playful hills, deep in the heart of Istra. At the vineyards of Vinakoper there are 70 % of red sorts of wine. On the red throne, authentic Refošk is the emperor, from which we make thick as blood ruby wine. Slovenian Istria was named after it, the Land of Refošk. The Malvazija wine is the honourable queen of white varieties.
