Ptujska klet is a modern and recognizable winery, embedded in the tradition of its environment, but at the same time free to accept the challenges of the global world. We produce wines of the highest quality, which pride themselves with the beauty of the wider area of Ptuj, Štajerska and Slovenia, as well as the charming taste of Haloze and Slovenske gorice. We constantly monitor modern
technological achievements in wine production and customer requirements, which we transofrm into modern wines. Our goal is to become the most successful and widely recognized producer of quality Slovenian wines.

Our work and approach to wine production are based on the awareness that we can only strive for perfection with complete dedication, passion, and love. We believe in the excellence of our wine-growing areas, in the dedication of our warm-hearted winegrowers and the excellence of our cellarmen. [VINEYARDS]
Our grapes ripen in the famous locations of the wine-growing district Štajerska Slovenia (Styria), more precisely in Haloze and Srednje Slovenske gorice. Vineyards are spread over 300 hectares of steep and mostly terraced hillsides on left and right banks of the Drava River and reach an altitude of 400 meters above sea level. The varied terrain is mainly dominated by gravel and clay, while the lower layers are covered with a layer of marl. Freshness and fertility place the region at the very top of the world's most suitable areas for viticulture.

With our wines we strive to create a synonym for distinct varietal aroma, perfect balance, drinkability, health, and highest quality. Our wines with the fingerprint of the Styrian landscape convince even the most demanding wine connoisseurs. This is confirmed by hundreds of awards and medals received at prestigious international and domestic wine competitions (Decanter, AWC Vienna, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Mundus Vini, SFWC S. Francisco, Finger Lakes...).

Our wines, known under the brands Pullus, Haložan and Pinky Chick, demonstrate a perfect balance between tradition and the demands of today's wine lovers at home and around the world. Each vintage is characterized by only healthy and carefully selected high-quality grapes that are picked by hand. In the cellar, tradition then combines with state-of-the-art technology and oenological expertise, which together create some of the healthiest wines on the market, while also revealing the secrets of fearless viticulture on very steep and mostly terraced hillsides. We produce around one million litres of wine annually, of which 85 percent are white varieties, including Welschriesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Yellow Muscat, Traminer, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau (Riesling-Sylvaner), Otonel Muscat and others. Red wines are represented by Pinot Noir, Blaufrankisch and Black Velvet and others.
[SPIRITS]
Ptujska klet is also home to the oldest distillery in Slovenia, which has been known for generations under the brand name Petovia. The beginning of the production of spirits dates to 1873, and the long tradition of proven traditional spirit flavours has been passed down from generation to generation and preserved until today.
