WHO WE ARE
16 years go my father decided to open his first Italian restaurant in Bratislava: “da Cono”.
We already had experience in food industry: he worked as chef, firstly in Italy, then in Germany, and I’ve followed his path, learning the art to make it my work.
We’ve arrived in Slovakia with the purpose to promote our cooking tradition, bringing the typical Italian dishes and the ingredients raised in our lands on the tables of our customers, who have appreciated and rewarded our work. Thanks to our commitment and to their faith, soon we had 3 restaurants in Bratislava.
The culture of Southern Italy has taught us to have a direct relationship, both with producers and with end customers. This approach has contributed to our growth, helping us to develop our own distribution network throughout the Slovak territory.
Cono’s Food was born to supply our 3 restaurants in Bratislava but soon we decided to put the experience, the structure and the products we selected for “da Cono” restaurants, to supply also the restaurants managed by our chef colleagues.
Today, thanks to the internet, we can also reach those who do not work in the kitchen but want to enjoy creating Italian dishes. We’re constantly looking for quality Italian ingredients to amaze our guests.
