This year, Augmac Farms once again partnered with the Agribusiness Department of Njala University to provide a practical marketing experience for students while creating greater visibility for our products. A total of 135 students participated in the exercise and were divided into eight groups. Each group received quantities of AUGMAC FARMS Coconut Garri from a total of 135 packs distributed for marketing and sales activities.
The students were tasked with promoting, selling, and engaging customers before returning to present their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned. This practical exposure helped them develop essential marketing skills, including customer engagement, sales techniques, communication, teamwork, negotiation, and market analysis.
For AUGMAC FARMS, the exercise helped broaden our market coverage by introducing our products to new consumers and communities. The feedback and recommendations gathered from customers and students provided valuable market insights that support informed decision-making, product improvement, and business growth. This partnership continues to create mutual benefits by strengthening students' practical skills while expanding the reach and impact of AUGMAC FARMS products.
