Through the YLAI Exchange Program, InSeasons had the amazing opportunity to partner with Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream in Shelburne, Vermont ๐ฆ๐บ๐ธ
What makes Sisters' so unique? They grow their own berries and transform them into specialty ice creams with distinctive flavours that are truly one of a kind - perhaps even in the entire USA and beyond ๐คซ
Sisters of Anarchy has built an inspiring farm-to-product business model, complete with their own farm, dedicated staff, distribution network, and a beautiful establishment where they create value added products. In addition, they also produce pies, wellness syrups, ice cream sandwiches, and frozen berries! ๐ซ
During this collaboration we focused on business processes, operations, and product development - insights weโll bring into our growing business. Most importantly, we were given the opportunity to experience every aspect of the value chain firsthand. ๐
On top of that, I had the privilege of visiting Rhino Foods, a well-established production company known for producing ingredients, such as cookie dough, for international brands like Ben & Jerry's.
For InSeasons, this was an invaluable learning experience. Like Suriname, Vermont is rich in lush, forested landscapes, agricultural activities, and a population of approx. 645,000 people, there were many similarities that made the experience even more relatable. ๐ฟ
In this mini vlog, you get a behind-the-scenes look at these experiences - many of which will inspire future developments at InSeasons.
Thank you, Sisters of Anarchy, for your warmth, generosity, and shared knowledge โค๏ธ
