Dr. Riek G*i Kok Diaang has tirelessly visited all nine counties of Jonglei, championing the importance of peace and encouraging dialogue among our communities. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, as we now see Jonglei emerging as one of the most peaceful regions in South Sudan. This transformation is a testament to Dr. G*i's commitment to fostering an environment where all citizens can thrive.

To the youth of Jonglei, I urge you to rally behind our capable leader, Dr. Riek G*i Kok Diaang. The Padang Youth Union recently made a special visit to Governor of Warrap State, Col. Francis Marial Abur. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate him for his new assignment as the Governor of warrap state,
Second is to encourage him in order to promote peace and unity amongst youths in Warrap and Eastern parts of South Sudan. The delegation was led by Mr. Machar Dau, Chairman of Padang Youths Union, and included Michar Bol Yol as Deputy Secretary General, Nyok Mayiik Ayiei as Deputy Secretary for Finance, Mr. Kur Ngor Loi as Secretary for External Affairs, and CDE Kuany Monyjok Deng as the Union Information Secretary.

During the meeting, the Padang Youth Union briefed the Governor on their plans and initiatives to bring about peace and development in the region. They emphasized the importance of youth engagement in decision-making processes and highlighted their commitment to working with the government to address the challenges facing young people in Warrap and Eastern parts of South Sudan.

The Governor welcomed the delegation and expressed his support for their efforts. He reiterated the importance of unity among the youths of Warrap and Eastern parts of South Sudan and pledged his administration's commitment to working with the Padang Youth Union to achieve this goal.

The meeting was considered a success, with both parties agreeing to continue working together to promote peace, unity, and development in the region. Resolution of the Meeting between Padang Youths Union and Rut Youth Association:

The Padang Youths Union had a meeting with the Rut Youth Association where the Rut Youth Association made a special visit to the Padang Union office. The delegation from the Rut Youth Association was led by their chairman, Maluit Thon De Garang. Other members included Kalany Machiek Kong as the Information Secretary, Bol Kuer Deng as the Secretary for External Affairs, and Anei Monyluak as the Academic Secretary.

The agenda of the meeting covered the following points:

1. ) Expressing appreciation to the Union of Padang Youth for their unwavering support to the local youths across the Padang areas.
2.) Establishing a stronger relationship with the Union of Padang Youth.
The meeting involved key figures from the Padang Youth Union, including Michar Dau Kuol as the Chairman, CDE Kuany Monyjok Deng as the Information Secretary, and Michar Bol Yol as the Secretary of Social Welfare.
During the meeting, Chairman Michar Dau Kuol expressed gratitude to the Rut Youth Association for their visit to the Padang office. Discussions revolved around the unity of Padang from Juba to the grassroots level, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and collaboration.

Yesterday, a great celebration was held to honor the appointment of Comrade Santo Malek Anei as the new Secretary for Political and Mobilization of the SPLM National Secretariat. The event was attended by national figures, including Cde Daniel Awet Akot, Deputy Chairman of SPLM and member of the Political Bureau; Cde Daniel Abosha Ali, Chairman of SPLM National Youth League and member of the Political Bureau; Cde Emmanuel Adil, Governor of Central Equatoria and Chairman of SPLM in Central and member of SPLM NLC; and Cde Santo Malek Anei, Secretary for Political and Mobilization of SPLM National Secretariat.
The celebration also saw the presence of Cde Joseph Geny Akech, National Minister of Youths and Sports; representatives from Lake; directors of national youth league clubs; all comrades; and Liet Nom Forum members, including the Chairman of Liet Nom Forum. The event was a resounding success, with attendees expressing their joy and support for Comrade Santo Malek Anei's new role.
This appointment is a testament to Comrade Santo Malek Anei's dedication and hard work within the party and the country as a whole. His new role will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of the SPLM and the people of South Sudan.
