This weekend we visited our out-grower farmers involved in our bean seeds multiplication in Palwar Boma of Magwi County. What we saw from this group is impressive and so encouraging. Our vision is to ensure that quality seeds are accessible and affordable to all farmers through our (Out-grower) local seed production model. This approach creates business opportunities for all actors involved in seed value chain. Farming as a business is the only way our farmers exploit agribusiness opportunities we have at hand but yet untapped. To all our followers and clients trust this move are working with all stakeholders to revolutionize agriculture and make it an attractive business for youths.

A courtesy visit to Mr. Jerry Augustine Igga’s farm along Torit highway to check out how his maize crops are performing, challenges he is facing as a smallholder farmer. Mr. Jerry is doing extremely well however, lack of skilled man power is one of his major challenge and the workers he always get to work in his farm are unskilled and they do the contrary to the instructions he always give them especially the during planting that the workers planted more than expected seeds per hole and the due to workload he was unable to thin the maize garden. Our visit to his farm is part of our support strategy to smallholder farmers to improve on their productivity. we look forward to engaging with many farmers on different crops in the coming days
