The Thai word “ขี้” (khîi) literally means p**p 💩
Synonym
อุจจาระ - ùt-jaa-rá - F***s (formal/medical)
อึ - ùe - p**p (child friendly)
มูล - moon - dung/manure
but when you put it in front of another word, it completely changes the meaning.
It becomes a prefix that shows a habit, personality trait, or tendency — often meaning “overly/too much,” “easily,” or “always.”
Here are some common ones:
ขี้เกียจ = lazy (doesn’t want to do anything)
ขี้โมโห = hot-tempered (easily angry)
ขี้อาย = shy (easily embarrassed)
ขี้หึง = jealous (overly possessive)
ขี้เล่น = playful (likes to tease or joke)
So when someone says “เขาเป็นคนขี้___,”
they’re describing a type of person — not talking about p**p 😄
