Join us on Thu July 2nd as Khun Boat Wongrsrisathaporn Boat T. Wong., , DipWSET and sommelier extraordinaire, guides a selective group of inquisitive guests and drinkers through some of Burgundy’s best Chardonnays from the region’s most sought after and coveted estates.

From the northern reaches of Chablis traversing all the way down to the Mâconnais – this Fine White Burgundy Master Class features mature wines from Robert Ampeau and Domaine Thibert | Fuissé as well as new arrivals from Thomas Pico’s Chablis Thomas Pico , and the inimitable wines of both and Raphael Coche Domaine Coche-Dury featuring 1er Cru and Village level bottlings from the latter two. Truly a spectacular opportunity to experience some of the most exciting white wines modern Burgundy has to offer.

The event will commence at 7pm at ALIEN and will feature 5 fantastic wines and a welcome glass of Burgundian bubbles by Parigot & Richard to go alongside the evening’s small plates menu in the creative bistro’s private dining room. Our crafty friends surely make great wines, and beyond: speciality beverages such as Cider, Vin Jaune and Fortified Wines.

Some went on to collab on making fine wine glasses for your drinking pleasure, while others honed their skills in regional products including Armagnac, Eaux de Vie, Grappa, or Brandy and other higher ABVs.

Certainly not widely distributed but of the highest quality. You will find these small batch goodies only in specialty retailers around the world. Let us advise you!

The impact and inspiration of Thai cuisine cannot be understated overseas, as its flavors, ferments, and our festive approach to eating make their way onto an ever more international stage. Earlier this month, our dear friends and masterful emissaries of Thai gastronomy, and of headed to Adelaide, South Australia for a pop-up at , where they shared their singular and revelatory approach to Thailand and its neighbors’ bounty of techniques, tastes, and ingredients.

While visiting the Adelaide Hills, they stopped by one of our cherished producers: the winemaking duo Gareth and Rainbo Belton, the couple behind the colorful, charismatic, and Burgundian-inspired wines of whose wines we have been sharing in Thailand for nearly a decade.

Characterful and inspiring in their respective crafts, the two couples represent for us the bright future of dining and drinking not only in Thailand and Australia but throughout the world. They are experts who create with an infectious energy and joyous vivacity that enlivens the spirit of this community we are fortunate to be a part of!

Every so often, we are fortunate enough to see the wine world converge on familiar shores, where winemakers and the dedicated folks that represent our wineries and producers from around the world find their way to Bangkok with serendipitous timing and temperament. With the help of our colleagues from all corners of the globe, we spent our collective and collaborative efforts sharing wines from Alto Adige, Mendoza, Frankland River, Cahors, the Rhône, and Rioja.

An abundance of wines were shared with our dedicated wine community, from the fresh mountain top Pinot Grigio of , Argentina’s leading biodynamic winery of , the remote Rieslings and reds of Western Australia’s , mature & singular Malbecs from and and southern Rhône reds of Chateauneuf du Pape from and presented by , and last but not least a compendium of Rioja’s legendary wines from the last two decades.

A massive thank you to our wineries and collaborators for their dedicated support and commitment and for helping to bring a bit of their wine world closer to our home, and a huge thanks for our friends at for hosting us. Wine builds community and its made possible by all of you!

The Barossa, founded in the 1840s has naturally also evolved, with the pendulum swinging towards a fresher style today and wineries including proud to offer an array of Mediterranean varietals. Recently a small group from Thailand were blown away by the build of Damien’s underground cellar. The thought and planning here went miles beyond what is necessary to make biodynamic wines. The living cellar merges the surrounding vineyard ecosystem with natural sustainable and functional elements . A must visit to this part of Western Barossa, and a lovely reminder of where the first settlers have come from. A Thing of Beauty was the label most talked about, pure Grenache love.

From Tuscany’s crown jewel in the hills of Chianti Classico, Castell’in Villa makes some of the most celebrated and understated wines in the entirety of Italy. An over 800-year-old estate with royalty in its roots, this sprawling expanse of vineyards, olive groves, and lush forest are home to historic and contemporarily acclaimed wines from not only the iconic Sangiovese grape, but also reflect the modern state of Tuscan Wine.

On May 13th, , extraordinary Italian wine expert and founder of .hk and formerly the General Manager & Wine Director of Otto e Mezzo Bombana, of 3-star Michelin fame in Hong Kong, will guide you through an intimate wine evening with this legacy producer.

Tickets are Thb 3,750 net per person and include a selection of three Chianti Classico and Riserva from both recent and mature vintages, as well as well-cellared renditions of pure Cabernet Sauvignon and one blended with Sangiovese from 2009 and 2011. Thanawat returns later this month for a master class on the Hill of Montgueux and the wines of ; one of the very best Chardonnay-based Blanc de Blancs wines in the entirety of Champagne.

Seats for this tasting and talk are Thb 4,750 net per person and includes a line up of three Champagne cuveés and two Coteaux Champenois. The conversation centers around the Hill of Montgueux, often referred to as the “Montrachet of Champagne” and Emmanuel’s wholly unique approach to his Champenoise method in the cellar.

We plan to welcome you with a glass of Odinstal Riesling Sekt Nature 2019 from the Pfalz and later offer canapés prepared by with the below labels.

Back now for a little while, the recent trip to northern Portugal and Northwest of Spain still lingers in .th memory, and together, we would like to invite you to join this masterclass at Wine Bar on Thursday, March 26th.

Jordan will share stories of places and people, a journey through Bierzo and Ribeira Sacra all the way down to the Douro offering you a deeper understanding of what makes the red wines of the Iberian Atlantic so special.

The younger and maturing labels exemplify a striking sense of place and wholesome collaboration, vinously communicated through the indigenous varieties of these respective regions. From steep, schist-laden vineyards of Mencia and Caiño Tinto to prolific parcels of Bastardo and Mencia, ending in the Douro with historic estate which not only crafts some of the greatest port wine on the planet, but makes a compelling case for their age-worthy red wines. We have done the patience-required heavy lifting for you, as these wines have been well cellared and matured and our now showing their opulence and profundity in abundance. A perfect time to discover and drink your way through a region that now feels deeply personal and continually exciting.
