Father's Day Is Coming... And I Wish My Dad Were Still Here To Celebrate It.

My dad taught me so much about life.

He taught me that character matters.

That kindness matters.

That family matters.

He taught me how to face hard days without giving up.

He taught me that strength isn't about never falling.

It's about getting back up.

As Father's Day gets closer, I find myself thinking about all those lessons.

And wishing I could thank him one more time.

There are so many things I understand now that I didn't understand when he was here.

So many sacrifices I never noticed.

So much love I took for granted.

If I had one more day with my dad, I wouldn't waste a single minute.

I'd simply tell him how much he meant to me.

How much he still means to me.

And how much I wish he were still here.

Father's Day Feels Different When Your Dad Lives In Heaven.

For many people, Father's Day is a celebration.

For others, it's a reminder of what is missing.

It's a day filled with love.

And sometimes tears.

A day when old memories return without warning.

A day when you smile at the good times and cry because there won't be any new ones.

The truth is, losing a father doesn't stop you from loving him.

If anything, it teaches you how powerful love really is.

Because even death cannot erase it.

Even years cannot weaken it.

And even Heaven cannot separate it.

Today I celebrate the man who helped shape my life.

The man who taught me lessons that still guide me years later.

And so does the missing.

No matter how many years pass.

No matter how busy life becomes.

No matter how many smiles I manage to wear.

There is still a place in my heart that aches for you.

Father's Day has a way of bringing everything back.

The memories of family gatherings.

The sound of your laughter.

The feeling of knowing you were here.

Some people think grief fades away.

What really happens is that we learn how to carry it.

We learn how to live around it.

But we never stop loving.

And because we never stop loving, we never completely stop missing.

This Father's Day, I'm Sending My Love To Heaven.

Every store is filled with Father's Day cards.

Every advertisement reminds me that the day is coming.

And every reminder makes me think of you.

I can't buy a card for Heaven.

I can't wrap a gift and place it in your hands.

I can't sit beside you and tell you how much I love you.

So instead, I'm sending my love upward.

Beyond the clouds.

Beyond the stars.

Beyond the distance that separates us.

Because love doesn't end when someone leaves this world.

A father's love stays with his children forever.

And a child's love follows their father wherever he is.

Dad, if Heaven allows you to see us, I hope you know how deeply you are missed.

I miss you, Dad.

Those four words seem so small for a loss that has changed every part of my life.

There are days when I still reach for memories of you the way someone reaches for light in the dark. I miss your voice, your laughter, your advice, and the comfort of simply knowing you were there. I miss the way you could make things feel okay even when life was difficult. I miss the conversations we never got to finish and the moments we never got to share.

If I had one wish, it wouldn't be for riches, success, or anything this world could offer. I would trade it all for one more day with you. One more hug. One more story. One more chance to hear you say my name.

People say time heals, but some losses never truly leave us. We simply learn how to carry them. We learn how to smile while still missing someone with every beat of our hearts.

Father's Day is a reminder of how blessed I was to call you my Dad and how much I wish you were still here. Though I cannot see you, your love continues to guide me. The lessons you taught me, the strength you gave me, and the memories we shared remain a part of who I am.
