The guided tea tasting journey begins this Sunday.

Sharing a moment from a guided tea tasting session, and something I've come to believe through teaching tea.

If you'd like to join, just send me a message. 🍵

Last weekend I hosted my first workshop centered around the art of tasting tea. We were a small, intimate group, which meant lots of conversation 😊

Everyone brewed their own tea while I guided them through the process - what to notice, how to pay attention to aroma and flavor, and how to start putting words to the experience.

It was especially meaningful to hear how things shifted, even within that short time. And also to hear people speak honestly about where they felt stuck - finding the right words, identifying the exact note, practicing alone.

I'd like to continue this in a slightly more in-depth way.

I'll be opening a small number of spots for a 4-week guided tea tasting journey soon (starting May 3rd).

hiii tea friends, I’ve noticed something interesting: so many people here love tea, but don’t always know how to describe what they’re tasting. It can feel tricky to put those flavors into words... totally normal!

Because of this, I created an online hands-on workshop where we just taste, notice, and practice describing what we love about tea. No pressure or perfection. Just a cozy little space to explore together.

If that sounds like your kinda Sunday, I'd love for you to join us 💛

Sometimes you love a tea... and sometimes you just don't. But it’s not always obvious why.

Maybe it’s the aroma, maybe the texture, or something subtle you can’t quite identify (…yet 🙂)

This Sunday, I’m hosting a live tea tasting workshop where we’ll slow things down and explore what’s happening in your cup, in a simple, guided way 🌿

We’ll look at aroma, flavor, texture, and beyond, and how these elements come together, so you can start noticing and describing your tea more clearly.

It’s beginner-friendly and interactive. You’re welcome to bring your own tea, or just observe and learn.

If you’ve been curious about exploring tea more thoughtfully, I’d love to have you join.

A lot of people feel this way about tea. But here's the thing: it’s not about having expert taste buds - it’s about knowing what to notice.

I’m curious: what's one thing you noticed in a tea recently? 🍃

This weekend I had the pleasure of hosting an in-person tea tasting workshop to celebrate spring 🌱🌸 I selected three teas - from light and floral, to creamy and nutty, to fruity and honeyed. We explored the world of tea through my travels, compared flavor profiles, and shared our personal preferences.

I was so impressed with everyone's tasting palates ☺️ It felt so special to gather around a table again - it's been a while. The vibe was intimate and laid back, and the conversation flowed naturally. A lovely afternoon with a lovely group.

Thank you to .teabar for hosting us 💚

I hope to share more sessions in-person again soon. I'm thinking of a summer tea gathering in Bangkok. 💖
