้วยเทมาริ หากแปลตรงตัวจะหมายถึง Handball ซึ่งแบรนด์ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากของเล่นเด็กญี่ปุ่นในสมัยก่อน ถือเป็นงานศิลปะพื้นบ้านของชาวญี่ปุ่น แพร่หลายในประเทศตั้งแต่ช่วงศตวรรษที่ 7
