Egg fruit, also known as Canistel (scientific name: Pouteria campechiana), is a tropical fruit native to Central America, Mexico, and parts of South America. It is called “egg fruit” because of its resemblance to a hard-boiled egg in appearance and texture.

Bael fruit also known as wood apple is a tropical fruit native to India and Southeast Asia. It is highly valued both for its medicinal properties and as a food source.

“We are back in our experimental section !!! This time we work with wolffia, is a genus of aquatic plants with a cosmopolitan distribution.They include the smallest flowering plants on Earth.Commonly called watermeal or rootless duckweed,these aquatic plants resemble specks of cornmeal floating on the water. They often float together in pairs or form floating mats with related plants, such as Lemna and Spirodela species.) which has the potential to be a future food source for people since it contains high protein and can be farmed. We take it and mix it with shio koji and rice paddy herbs, then let it sit at a controlled temperature. We will observe the results in a few weeks. I can’t wait to see how it goes—stay tuned!”
