Student Camping & Sustainability Workshop at Lila Farm 🌿
Recently, we welcomed a group of students from Unity Concord International School (UCIS) for a camping and outdoor learning experience at Lila Farm. The students learned basic camping skills, including how to set up and pitch their own tents, before joining hands-on workshops focused on sustainability and environmental education.
🥒 Pickling Workshop
Students learned the basics of food preservation through pickling, using fresh vegetables and simple natural ingredients. The workshop introduced traditional preservation techniques while exploring ways to reduce food waste and make use of seasonal produce.
🌱 Biochar Compost Workshop
Students explored soil improvement, nutrient retention, and how Biochar can support sustainable agriculture and healthy ecosystems.
After the workshops, the group took an evening hike to the nearby reservoir and learned about resouce management.
The day ended with a BBQ dinner in a peaceful outdoor setting, giving students time to relax, connect, and hang out!

นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้พื้นฐานการตั้งแคมป์และการกางเต็นท์ ก่อนเข้าร่วม Workshop ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการเกษตรเชิงยั่งยืน โดยได้ลงมือทำจริงผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ได้แก่

เรียนรู้การแปรรูปผลผลิตทางการเกษตรและการถนอมอาหารด้วยวิธีธรรมชาติ
🌱 Workshop การทำปุ๋ยผสมถ่านBiochar
เรียนรู้เรื่องการปรับปรุงดิน การกักเก็บธาตุอาหาร และแนวทางการเกษตรที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
หลังจากจบ Workshop ในช่วงเย็น นักเรียนได้เดินขึ้นไปยังเขื่อนใกล้ฟาร์ม เพื่อชมวิวธรรมชาติ เรียนรู้ระบบนิเวศในพื้นที่
ปิดท้ายวันด้วย BBQ Dinner ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติ เราเปิดรับโรงเรียน มหาวิทยาลัย และกลุ่มนักเรียนที่สนใจกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียน (Experiential Learning) ในหัวข้อต่าง ๆ เช่น
• การเกษตรอินทรีย์และความมั่นคงทางอาหาร
• การจัดการขยะและการทำปุ๋ยหมัก
• Biochar และการฟื้นฟูดิน
• การถนอมอาหารและการแปรรูปผลผลิต
• การใช้พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์แบบ Off-grid
• การตั้งแคมป์และทักษะการใช้ชีวิตกลางแจ้ง
• กิจกรรม Team Building และ Nature-Based Learning
