Here are some example of our figs this season. Rainy season is notoriously difficult for fig production. Even in the greenhouse, figs are prone to splitting, molding and skin imperfection. Regardless, we still have figs available if anyone want to reserve.

Introducing 2 new fig varieties at the farm this season:

Kuromitsu (黒蜜) 🇯🇵

Named after the traditional Japanese "black honey" syrup, this rare and premium variety lives up to its name. These figs ripen to a striking jet-black color, opening up to reveal a rich, deep-red center. Each bite offers an incredibly sweet, honey-like flavor with a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Desert King 🇺🇸

The Desert King fig is a remarkable variety that traces its roots back to a chance seedling found in California around 1930. On the outside, these figs feature a deep green skin that resists splitting, while the inside reveals a rich pulp. The flavor profile is exceptionally sweet and honey-like, making them a wonderful choice for fresh eating, pairing with cheeses, or preserving.
