# วันเทโวโรหณะ หมายถึง วันที่พระพุทธเจ้าเสด็จลงจากสวรรค์ ชั้นดาวดึงส์ในวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 11 มีประเพณีตักบาตรในวันนี้ บางแห่งก็ตักบาตรในวันถัดมา (วันแรม 1 ค่ำ เดือน 11) การตักบาตรในวันนี้มีลักษณะพิเศษ คือ จะอัญเชิญพระพุทธรูปขึ้นประดิษฐานบนล้อเลื่อนที่บุษบก (บุษบก หมายถึง เรือขนาดเล็ก มียอด เคลื่อนที่ได้) และมีบาตรวางตั้งอยู่ด้านหน้า และจะมีคนลากล้อเลื่อนไปอย่างช้าๆ พระสงฆ์ก็จะเดินตามเรียงเป็นแถวส่วนพุทธศาสนิกชนก็จะนั่งเรียงเป็นแถว และนำข้าวต้มลูกโยนมาใส่บาตร ซึ่งในบางวัดอาจจะมีการจัดสถานที่เป็นแบบจำลองเหมือนกับที่พระพุทธเจ้าเสด็จลงมาจริง พุทธศาสนิกชนบางท่านก็ไปทำบุญตักบาตรที่วัด โดยเตรียมอาหารในตอนเช้า มีการอาราธนาศีล สมาทานศีล และรักษาศีล ฟังธรรมและทำสมาธิตามโอกาส แผ่เมตตา และกรวดน้ำ
