“คุณเค” เจ้าของร้านเล่าว่า จริง ๆ แนวคิดนี้ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหม่ แต่คือวิธีซื้อขายแบบสมัยก่อน อยากได้อะไรก็ซื้ออันนั้นนิด อันนี้หน่อย พกกระเป๋า ใส่ย่าม ใส่กล่องที่เอามาจากบ้าน การใช้ถุงพลาสติกเป็นสิ่งใหม่ที่ไม่ได้มีมาแต่แรก
นี่อาจเป็น DNA ที่ฝังมาตั้งแต่เด็ก เพราะอากงของคุณเคทำกิจการร้านขายของชำขนาดใหญ่ในปราจีนบุรี
ที่ Unpacked มีตั้งแต่แชมพู ครีมนวด สบู่ น้ำยาล้างจาน ซึ่งบางอย่างคุณเคผลิตเอง ทั้งยังเริ่มต้นจากการปลูกสมุนไพรเองด้วยซ้ำ ในร้านยังให้ความสำคัญกับโซนเครื่องเทศ สมุนไพร เมล็ดพืช และสินค้าที่เป็นงานคราฟท์อย่างเทียนหอม 🕯️
Unpackedไม่ได้ทำ zero-waste แบบสุดโต่งจนลูกค้าทั่วไปเข้าถึงยาก แต่ใช้วิธีลด “แรงเสียดทาน” ลูกค้านำขวดหรือกล่องมาเติมเองได้ ถ้าลืม ร้านก็มีขวดใช้ซ้ำที่ล้างสะอาดเตรียมไว้ให้
💛หัวใจคือ อยากใช้เท่าไรก็ซื้อเท่านั้น ไม่ต้องตุน ไม่ต้องซื้อยกโหล ไม่บังคับว่าต้องซื้อยกแพค เรียกว่า ซื้อเล็กน้อยแค่ไหนก็ขาย ขนาดCotton Bud ก้านไม้อันเดียวก็เคยขายมาแล้ว 😂
คุณเค บอกว่า "Zero Waste ไม่ควรเป็นเรื่องสุดโต่ง แต่ทำให้การลดขยะกลายเป็นเรื่องธรรมดาในชีวิตประจำวัน ทำจนชิน ขวดใบเดิม ล้าง ตากเอากลับมาเติม ของก็ซื้อเท่าที่ใช้ ประหยัดทั้งเงินและทรัพยากรของโลก🌍
บางทีการช่วยโลกไม่ต้องเริ่มจากเรื่องใหญ่
แค่เริ่มจากขวดใบเดิม แล้วกลับมาเติมอีกครั้งก็ได้ 🌱

“Khun Kay” (the owner) told us that this idea is actually not new at all. It’s how people used to shop in the old days. You bought just a little of this, a little of that, and brought your own bag, basket, or container from home.
Plastic bags are actually the new thing.
Maybe this way of thinking is already in her DNA. Her grandfather used to run a large grocery store in Prachin Buri.
At Unpacked, you can find everything from shampoo, conditioner and soap to dishwashing liquid. Some of the products are even made by Khun Kay herself, starting with herbs that she grew on her own.
There’s also a lovely selection of spices, herbs, seeds, and handmade products like scented candles.🕯️
