THE FIRST AUTHENTIC GREEK YOGURT IN THAILAND
2010
Christos and Duangta (Oi), began making Greek yogurt on the island of Samui in 2010. Christos coming from a region of Greece known for its yogurt and feta cheese, noticed a lack of these products in Thailand. So, they started by making Greek strained yogurt for their own Greek restaurant in Koh Samui. Their journey began with a significant chall
enge: sourcing the right raw material—milk. After extensive research, identified the ideal cow's milk and began crafting the first yogurt prototypes. Notably, "Fi Greek Yogurt" quickly gained fame. In addition to retail sales on the island, and remarkably without any publicity (it was very early, after all), they began receiving orders from Bangkok, Phuket, and other locations. This eventually led to it being adopted by the hospitality sector, with contracts at major hotels. However, the island's limited space and unique characteristics preclude further development. Consequently, the initial strategy was always to relocate production for commercial purposes to the mainland, where conditions are better suited for its implementation.
2025
On November 1, 2025, the new, modern creamery, in Suratthani commenced commercial operations. The facility's ideal conditions are instrumental in ensuring superior product quality, packaging, and distribution, while also enabling increased production capacity and ongoing development.
