ลีซู หมายถึง ชนเผ่าลีซู
อามี หมายถึง ไร่ สวน
จึงมีความหมายรวมๆ กันว่าไร่หรือสวนของชาวลีซู
"Lisumi" means a farm of Lisu people or a family of Lisu. "Ami" means farm, plantation, or estate.

Lisumi estate is located on Doichang mountain high above sea level 1,300-1,400 meters in Maesuai district of Chiangrai province, the northern of Thailand. The rich soil of the mountain, cool temperatures, and the right amount of moisture are perfect for farming Arabica coffee. We keep our soil rich and balanced by growing plums, maccadamia nuts, and cherries on the coffee farm. The trees provide shade and maintain the moisture of the surface soil.
