Heute Morgen bei Kan Haven – ein besonderer Start in den Tag für unsere Biker-Gäste aus Thailand und Deutschland. 🏍️

Bevor es gemeinsam zu den Erawan-Wasserfällen ging, gab es ein hausgemachtes Frühstück mit viel Liebe:
🥐 Croissant mit Schweinefleisch in Gochujang-Sauce
🍳 Rührei & frischer Salat
🥑 Avocado mit Honig
🍓 Timber Ring mit Mixed Berries & Karamellsauce
🥭 Zum Abschluss: frische Mangosteen zum Erfrischen.

Gutes Essen, nette Gespräche und ein gemeinsamer Start in einen neuen Abenteuer-Tag. ❤️

Wir wünschen euch eine wunderschöne Fahrt und viel Spaß an den Erawan-Wasserfällen!



A special morning at Kan Haven with our Biker guests from Thailand and Germany.

Before heading off to the Erawan Waterfalls, we prepared a homemade breakfast with a little taste of Kan Haven:
🥐 Croissant filled with Gochujang pork
🍳 Scrambled eggs & fresh salad
🥑 Avocado with honey
🍓 Timber Ring with mixed berries & caramel sauce
🥭 And finally, fresh mangosteen to refresh the palate.

เมื่อคืนมีแขกชาวไทยเดินทางมาถึง Kan Haven กลางดึก
เขาเป็นคนที่ครั้งหนึ่งเคยใช้ชีวิตอยู่ที่กาญจนบุรี

เช้าวันนี้ เราเลยอยากต้อนรับเขาด้วยอาหารที่เรียบง่าย แต่เต็มไปด้วยความทรงจำ
🥣 โจ๊กใส่ไข่
🥟 ขนมจีบ
🐉 แก้วมังกร

ทั้งหมดเป็นวัตถุดิบและอาหารที่เราหาได้จากท้องถิ่น
เพราะบางครั้ง…อาหารไม่ได้มีไว้แค่ให้อิ่ม
แต่มันสามารถพาเรากลับไปยังสถานที่ ความรู้สึก และช่วงเวลาที่เคยมีความหมายได้

หวังว่าอาหารเช้ามื้อนี้ จะพาความทรงจำดี ๆ ของกาญจนบุรีกลับมาอีกครั้งนะครับ 🤍

Our Thai guest arrived at Kan Haven late last night.
Having once called Kanchanaburi home, we wanted to welcome him this morning with something simple and familiar.

Rice soup with egg, dumplings, and locally sourced dragon fruit —
simple local food, chosen to bring back a little taste of the memories he once made here.

Because sometimes, food is more than just a meal.
It can take us back to a place we once called home.

🇫🇷 Quand quelqu’un qui a autrefois vécu à Kanchanaburi revient nous rendre visite…

Notre hôte thaïlandais est arrivé t**d dans la nuit à Kan Haven.
Comme il a autrefois vécu à Kanchanaburi, nous avons voulu lui offrir ce matin un petit-déjeuner simple, local et familier.

Une soupe de riz avec œuf, des bouchées vapeur et du fruit du dragon provenant de producteurs locaux.

Parce que parfois, la nourriture ne sert pas seulement à nous rassasier.
Elle peut aussi réveiller les souvenirs d’un lieu que l’on a autrefois appelé chez soi.

Bevor unsere deutschen Gäste ausgecheckt haben, wollten sie noch ein gemeinsames Foto vor Kan Haven machen – als kleine Erinnerung an ihren Aufenthalt.

Besonders unser Massaman-Tofu-Frühstück hat ihnen gefallen. Sie mochten vor allem, dass der Massaman-Curry aromatisch und würzig war, aber nicht zu scharf.

Solche kleinen Momente und lieben Worte bedeuten uns sehr viel. Vielen Dank für euren Besuch und die schöne Erinnerung!

This morning’s breakfast was thoughtfully put together with a little Thai inspiration.
Massaman tofu served with toast spread with butter and Parmesan, creamy avocado yogurt topped with a little Thai-style granola — Kraya Sart — and a sweet banana on the side.

Simple, comforting, and made with care.

Ce matin, nous avons imaginé un petit-déjeuner avec une touche thaïlandaise.
Tofu au curry Massaman accompagné de pain grillé au beurre et au parmesan, yaourt à l’avocat avec une petite touche de granola thaï — Kraya Sart — et une banane bien mûre.

Breakfast at Kan Haven this morning.

Our Tom Yum Macaroni Soup with white shimeji mushrooms was enjoyed until the very last spoonful — and the dragon fruit and our homemade Timbering disappeared just as quickly!

We didn’t even get a photo of the Timbering… probably the best compliment a cook can get.

Frühstück bei Kan Haven heute Morgen.

Unsere Tom-Yum-Makaronisuppe mit weißen Shimeji-Pilzen wurde bis zum letzten Löffel aufgegessen – und auch die Drachenfrucht und unser hausgemachtes Timbering waren im Handumdrehen verschwunden!

Für das Timbering blieb uns nicht einmal Zeit für ein Foto …
Aber für einen Koch gibt es wohl kein schöneres Kompliment.

A warm homemade breakfast for two this morning at Kan Haven.

Scrambled eggs, crispy cheese-filled potato cakes, fresh salad and juicy Asian pear, followed by Thai traditional Khanom Sai Sai and a gentle cup of pandan & lemongrass tea with a touch of honey.

And of course, freshly brewed coffee to start the day. ☕️

ปิดท้ายด้วยโยเกิร์ตแอปเปิ้ลย่างเนย ราดคาราเมลหอมๆ

ส่วนแขกชาวไทย วันนี้เป็น โยเกิร์ตกระท้อนหมักน้ำผึ้ง รสหวานอมเปรี้ยวจากผลไม้ตามฤดูกาล

อาหารเช้าเรียบง่าย แต่ตั้งใจทำทุกจานให้เหมือนเสิร์ฟให้คนในบ้าน

Für unsere deutschen Gäste gab es ein Pilz-Skillet mit Gochujang-Sauce und geschmolzenem Käse, dazu Drachenfrucht, Banane, frische Milch und frisch gepressten Orangensaft.

Zum Abschluss: Joghurt mit in Butter gebratenen Äpfeln und einem Hauch Karamell.

Für unsere thailändischen Gäste gab es heute Joghurt mit in Honig eingelegter Santol-Frucht – süß, leicht säuerlich und wunderbar saisonal.

Ein einfaches Frühstück, mit viel Liebe zubereitet – wie für die eigene Familie.



Breakfast at KAN HAVEN today

For our German guests, we served a mushroom skillet with Gochujang sauce and melted cheese, accompanied by dragon fruit, banana, fresh milk and freshly squeezed orange juice.

To finish: creamy yogurt with butter-sautéed apples and a drizzle of caramel.

For our Thai guests, today’s special was yogurt with honey-marinated Santol fruit — naturally sweet, slightly tangy and beautifully seasonal.

A simple breakfast, thoughtfully prepared with the warmth of home.
