Hello friends from up in one of the most Northern parts of Thailand called Pai. We are here for a month and loving it. A beautiful mountain village oozing with charm, friendly people, amazing food and at least two 420 cafes on each block. There is really nothing to complain about here. We hope your new year has started off super good and we wish you much joy thru 2025.
The mountains here remind us of the Appalachian Mountains. These pictures are what I day dreamed Thailand would look like. I never really thought about the beaches which are equally as beautiful.

Hello from Pai, Thailand. We have circled back to a place we visited for a couple of nights last December. Pai reminds of the mountains of VA and TN, where we are both from. It is very comfortable here. The town is very small but packed with plenty to keep you busy. We've met several farmers over the last few months and spoken with 420 cafe owners, just trading techniques and talking about changing laws, our outdoor grow versus their indoor grow, etc. It is so fascinating learning the differences and similarities of our ways. Thank you for continuing to follow us along and Merry Christmas to each of you!

We may have moved away from the Appalachian Mountains for a while but it will always be home to us. Our hearts ache and break with you daily as we see the devastation on Facebook and the National News. Our prayers continue for our families, friends, neighbors, communities and all of those helping to feed and rescue those in need. It is a beautiful reminder how people can and will unite under extreme circumstances. We love you and pray for your strength and courage to face each new day.
For those of you interested. We are currently in Turkey, since September 1st and will be traveling back to Thailand at the middle of this month.

Hello friends! We are enjoying our travels and just wanted to check in. Feels like our Cannabis journey came full circle last week as we arrived in Trieste, Italy. We were here in January 2019 and found CBD for the very first time and it changed our lives. We saw the first legal Cannabis shop that trip and tried many different products. We were so amazed with the results we spent most of that vacation researching how we could grow our own and possibly make products. Lucky for us, the Farm Bill passed making CBD legal that year and we were all but first in line to get our grower and processing license. From there our online business was born. Now we are back here in Trieste and of course visiting many CBD shops. It is always fun for us to meet other growers, swap tips, growing pains and of course try other products. We hope all of our previous customers are doing great and we miss talking to you and shipping your orders. For now, we are planning to continue our travels. When we left VA we headed to Thailand where we stayed almost 6 months. We loved it there and decided to get our retirement Visas so we could come and go as we please. Next, We headed to Malaysia for Medical tourism and had a fantastic experience. Onto Istanbul, Turkey, then Montenegro, Bosnia, Slovenia, Croatia and now Italy. We have a few more stops planned before heading back to Thailand mid October. Here's a few pictures from Trieste, if you're interested. Greetings from Thailand. We've settled in and even found some local high quality farms here in Northern Thailand. It's only been legal here for a year so everyone is new to it and very appreciative of any guidance. Unlike some other farms we've visited this is a community run cannabis farm which we've never seen before, it's beneficial for everyone involved.
In 2007 we started compiling this land one piece at a time. Hoping to one day put the original farm back together. We would spend weekends camping on the property until we built a shelter and begin pitching our tent in it and spending longer periods here. By the end of 2014 we left the professional world, sold our home, most of our belongings and moved to Guatemala with our sweet dog Onyx knowing we would return to our farmland and build our home.
We lived in that shed for 11 months first, capturing rain water, using solar panels and tractor batteries for power, a 12 volt pump to use our rainwater in the sink, toilette and shower. We even had a propane hot water heater. I would carry our drinking water from a spring close by. It was very cozy and comfortable despite temperatures as high as 115 in the shed in summer and as low as 15 inside the shed in winter. (Our toilette froze and busted twice in that time frame). We loved every minute though and learned to take nothing for granted and be thankful for everything.
We’ve now lived in the home we built for a few years and have focused on making a working farm business. It didn’t take long to realize there are very few ways for a farmer to earn a good living. We’ve planted fruit trees and various berries and are always foraging for everything the farm can provide. In 2018 when the Farm Bill passed, it gave us the right to grow h**p again, well after jumping through the usual government hoops for permits. In the meantime we learned all we could about the plant and the process of extracting CBD and business of creating and selling the oil. Over that same period of time we began to use cbd to relieve our joint and muscle pain. We we discovered was that it worked and also helped in many other areas. We have consistently called it our “game changer” because we have been healthier in general since then. No longer is aspirin or ibuprofen needed or used by us, my headaches are at least 90% less frequent and less painful. We receive constant feedback from folks that this oil has helped greatly and now couldn’t image not having it. We are very proud of that and have come to really appreciate all that this plant can provide. Fiber for cloth, paper, wood, insulation and concrete are a few.
Now starting in August of 2019 we have formed Floyd H**p Factory along with 2 partners as a brand for our CBD oil. We’ve said all along that we want to provide it at a reasonable price for ourselves our friends and our family. We are doing that with a product we believe is absolutely top notch. We have drove from state to state meeting with everyone we could in the industry from extraction plant owners to large h**p farmers and grow operations.
We learned how to grow our h**p organically and naturally, so we can’t add anything but the best to it. The highest grade MCT premium organic coconut oil and that’s it for the Natural Flavor. Our flavored oils are only made from 100% organic plant based flavors with no chemicals or additives at all. The blending processed used increases the bio availability of our oil as well.
