Oriental Vinesories (OVS) is a wine importer and distributor with outlets in Phuket, Bangkok, and Koh Samui. The best description would be a boutique wine company as we try to import from smaller vineyards as opposed to big commercial ones. The whole point of OVS was to create a wine company that was more proactive and innovative than its competitors. To educate, create magical events, demystify and remove the snobbery that is often associated with the world of wine. The company was founded in 2019 by Khun Kritidech (Krit) Srabua and was born out of love and passion for wine, which started over 30 years ago when he was appointed Food & Beverage manager for the Oriental Mandarin group. After working with the O&M group for several years he established Oriental Events, which is now one of the biggest events companies in Thailand. He traveled extensively with his sommelier to vineyards all over the globe to find wines that excited him and were good value for money. Oriental Vinesories opened its doors in 2019 in Phuket and Bangkok supplying wines to Five Star hotels, fine restaurants, bars, and private collectors.
