Learning Turkish Culture with a 5 çayı ✍️ a warm, informal social gathering focused on community, and hospitality! Thank you to everyone who attended my first event in this series. ow, I understand why this is a tradition that has been passed down through generations.

Got a little sesame seed stuck in my hair in the beginning 😅 but despite being a terrible cook I actually had so much fun at this Turkish Breakfast workshop / cooking class by Highlights in Istanbul Workshops and everything turned out SO yummy especially the homemade simits!
