Somewhere between the plant and the final pour, there’s quite a bit of work nobody sees.

Leaves are picked, trimmed, blended, strained, measured, tested, adjusted, and probably discussed for longer than strictly necessary. That’s usually how things happen at Altkat Drinkery.

We like knowing where an ingredient starts, what happens to it along the way, and exactly why it deserves a place in what we make. Sometimes that means a shelf full of bottles. Sometimes it means standing next to a plant with a pair of scissors.

No shortcuts, no mysterious green liquid appearing from nowhere. Just a very Altkat amount of preparation behind something that will eventually look suspiciously effortless.

Pure attention = Prep

You should try Patatas bravas. A dish native to Spain. It typically consists of white potatoes that have been cut into two-centimeter-wide cubes, then fried in oil and served hot with a spicy “brava” sauce.
