Emma Stern’ün İstanbul’da ve galerideki ilk kişisel sergisi 🥂🤖 Şampanyadan Sebepler’i ziyaret ettiniz mi?

Sergi, Stern’ün geleneksel resim süreçlerini avatarlar ve sanal dünya inşasına duyduğu ilgiyle birleştirdiği süregelen üretiminin devamı niteliğini taşıyor.

, ayrıcalıklı bir yaşamdan kaynaklanan önemsiz dertleri ya da “birinci dünya” sorunlarını tanımlamak için kullanılan bir deyime [ch*****ne problems] esprili bir gönderme yapıyor. Sergi, sanatçının 2024 yılında İstanbul’a yaptığı ve kentin canlı mutfak ve misafirperverlik kültürüyle ilk kez karşılaştığı ziyaretten güçlü bir biçimde besleniyor. Bu deneyimlerden yola çıkan eserler, hayali, gösterişli ve fantastik bir akşam yemeği sahnesini, belki de rastgele seçilmiş bir yeni yıl arifesinde gerçekleşen bir daveti çağrıştırıyor. Bu masada, Stern’ün genişletilmiş evreninden, daha önceki işlerinde de karşımıza çıkan iskelet Skott ve sentor Buttercup gibi karakterlerin yanı sıra, ilk kez bu sergide görülen yeni figürler yer alıyor.

🏆 The Women’s International Trophy is a competition dedicated to w**es, beers, and spirits — all tasted exclusively by women. Around 900 entries were evaluated by the jury. I had the honour of participating as a jury member, and I tasted many successful w**es throughout the event.🍷
The competition took place in two flights, and each jury member tasted 30 w**es in total. In my opinion, French w**es once again showed outstanding performance among the others. Despite the ongoing effects of climate change, their quality remains well protected.
On the other hand, I observed a general decline in German w**es, likely due to a loss of aromatic intensity. The w**es seemed to fall short in balancing acidity and body, leaving them somewhat unharmonious.
One of the most inspiring moments of the competition was discovering the development of Slovakian w**es. Their character is uniquely expressive — a reflection of Eastern spirit and traditional identity.

Just wrapped up an incredible two days at Frankfurt International Trophy 2025 3,505 w**es, beers & spirits tasted — and among them, 75 w**es received the Grand Gold Medal! 🥇

Grateful to have been part of this inspiring jury. Beyond the overall quality, I was especially impressed by the continuous evolution of Greek w**es— Assyrtiko is clearly stepping into a new era of excellence. 🇬🇷✨

Huge thanks to all organizational committee and fellow jury members for the insightful exchanges and warm camaraderie.
