Carnbee Gardens agricultural park sits on four and a half acres and comprises over 200 fruit tres and plants including several varieties of mango, citrus, banana, guava, coconut and exotic and rarely seen fruit trees. The park also features a hydroponics section where herbs and vegetables are grown and a small, processing centre which produces a variety of healthy, fruit products for the hotel, re
staurant, retail and bakery sectors as well as walk in customers. The Park is truly a nature lover’s paradise. The gardens are located in Carnbee 2 just off of Auchenskeoch Buccoo Bay Road, close and easily accessible from the Scarborough city centre and the cruise ship port, the eco industrial estate at Cove, the airport and the South and west coast tourism spots in Tobago. Carnbee Gardens is the dream of Mr. Kenneth Noble, a retired head teacher who had lived and worked in the UK for many years and wanted to return to his country to develop this agricultural enterprise. Apart from the trees, a major feature of the park is its processing capability which produces fresh and frozen healthy products from the park. As an educator, Mr. Noble hopes that this park will serve as an educational centre on tropical fruit tree varieties for local and foreign visitors and school children to enjoy. The park welcomes tours by appointment only. Group size should be limited to 20 only. Adults: TTD 30.00
Children under 15 years of age: TTD 10.00. Comfortable shoes are recommended. The walking tour is about 1 ½ hours with map and information about the fruit trees. TOBAGO GOOD FOODS PROJECT
