10 years in and still learning new things on every dive :)
Ever since the Florida Trip, I comfortably increased my weights and gave up on using a wetsuit and so, have been diving whole a different style.
Being so buoyant, I did more hunting on the move (or holding onto structure) because it was the only way to stay down - even with weights on and no suit ๐ฌ
That means I was limited to certain species that are usually around structures, and never stalking those that camouflage in sand.
But after seein the other ladies with wayyyyy more weights than I see on the boys here, and increasing them until I can literally sink down and settle... It's a whole new world!
Mutton Snapper is a fish you have to calmly wait in sand to see and stalk. Little to no movement. So it makes sense that I've shot like... Maybe 5 in the last 10 years. Now 3 in one spot!
Can't wait to see what other species start to pass me while I'm under there ๐ฅน
