Just a short while ago, Himz Premium Homestyle was nothing more than a dream, a vision inspired by the warmth of Grandma’s kitchen, a handful of family recipes, and the determination to prove that handmade, authentic food still has a place in today’s world.

There were days of uncertainty. Days of sacrifices. Days when the hours were long, the sleep was short, and the only thing stronger than the exhaustion was the faith that one day our hard work would be seen.

On Saturday 8th August 2026, that faith was rewarded.

To be invited to participate in the Buy Local, Grow Trinbago Campaign at the S&S Persad’s Supermarket Compound in Mayaro wasn’t just another event for us—it was a milestone. It was a reminder that dreams really do grow when you refuse to quit. Standing proudly among so many brilliant local entrepreneurs, showcasing our wide range of handcrafted artisan products to dignitaries, Members of Parliament, business leaders, and some of Trinidad & Tobago’s most recognised brands was a feeling beyond words. We weren’t just representing Himz Premium Homestyle—we were representing every small business owner who has ever dared to dream big with humble beginnings.

Every bottle we poured. Every sample we served. Every conversation we had carried a piece of our story. A story built from scratch, just like our products.

This journey has never been about fame or fortune. It has always been about preserving the flavours of our heritage, supporting local agriculture, creating opportunities, and proving that passion, consistency, and hard work can take you places you never imagined. At the Buy Local, Grow Trinibago 🇹🇹 campaign hosted S&S Supermarket, Mayaro, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Senator the Honorable Dr. Kennedy Swaratsingh once again.
