Duane’s Cocoa Diary – Field Trip to the Cocoa Research Center, Trinidad and Tobago, April 2026:
Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Darin Sukha at the International Fine Cocoa Innovation Centre. He guided me through their model cocoa orchard and gave me a preview of the soon-to-be-launched UWI chocolate factory. During the visit, I explored the cocoa orchard and had the opportunity to taste their locally crafted bean-to-bar chocolates.

A guided cocoa estate tour
Fresh cocoa sampling
Traditional cocoa tea and rum
Chocolate sampling
Tour Price: $150 TTD per person
