Tea was an integral part of the morning, afternoon and evening rituals at home. I vividly recall my father brewing loose leaf Oolong Tea after his daily run in the late afternoon and offering it to me. I would accept excitedly because I thought it was so fancy and it created the perfect moment to share with my father... Just the two of us. He taught me the "correct" way of drinking tea without mil

k and sugar. As I matured, I began to discover the myriad of teas around me. As fate would have it, I stumbled upon the Teahouse (Čajovna) in the Czech Republic when I read Medicine there. A place dedicated to the art of drinking tea while being a haven for spending time with friends or even alone reading a book. Teahouses have hundreds of varieties of tea which opened my eyes to the possibilities and the experiences. I hope that I may share this with you in a small way through my page. As a medical doctor, I appreciate the numerous health benefits of tea.
