民國37年除夕，17歲的張爺爺隨軍來台。一面忙著戰事，一面吃著加了餡料的蔥餡餅充當年夜菜。這味道，令張爺爺思念起遠方的親人。然而回鄉逐漸成為幻想。
民國65年，張爺爺自軍中退役後，將這帶有「豐富親情」的家常菜，化作感動的分享，開始以蔥餡餅為主的小吃生意。逾四十年的家庭經營後，如今已是有口皆碑的地方美食。
