於1958年(823砲戰)在金門823砲戰時當海軍，乘坐兩棲登陸艇(水鴨船)進行補給，於當年退伍後創立至今。
由煙腸枝伯（本名「林登枝」）研發的手工煙燻香腸，堅持遵古法製，累積一大票死忠客人，常有饕客遠從南科開車來打牙祭，更是本庄在外子弟最懷念美味。
雖無店招，但口碑就是最佳廣告，香腸攤內外人群鑽動，堪稱總頭社區「勝景」之一。
