🇵🇭🇹🇼 A Heart Full of Gratitude

As I celebrate the successful completion of my FYFIPT journey in Taiwan, I am reminded that this achievement is not mine alone. It is the result of the collective support, trust, and encouragement of many people and institutions who believed in the potential of young farmers and agripreneurs like me.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to the Governor of South Cotabato - Hon. Gov. Reynaldo Sucayan Tamayo Jr. , the Municipal Government of Tupi- Hon. Mayor Romeo S. Tamayo, and the Barangay Bololmala- Punong Barangay Hon. Erlinda A. Simpao for your unwavering support and commitment to agricultural development and youth empowerment.

I also extend my sincere appreciation to the Agricultural Training Institute - Region 12 - OIC-Center Director Dr. Jessie V. Beldia; Office of the Provincial Agriculturist-South Cotabato - Dr. Raul D. Teves, DVM and Ma'am Dianne Muyco Bajade - Canales Provincial 4H Coordinator; and Office of the Municipal Agriculturist Agriculture - Sir M. Agustin and Ma'am Ava Odal Municipal 4H Coordinator for creating opportunities that equip young farmers and agripreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and global exposure needed to thrive in a rapidly changing agricultural landscape.

To my family, who supported me all through out my journey; my sponsors, a big thanks to your generosity.

The lessons, experiences, and best practices I gained in Taiwan will not only shape my personal journey but will also inspire me to contribute to the advancement of agriculture and rural communities in the Philippines.

Happy Farmers’ Day!

Today, we honor the men and women who work tirelessly to put food on our tables.

From the rice farmers who fill our plates, the women in farming breaking barriers, the farmer-laborers who work under the sun, to the livestock and dairy farmers who provide nourishment every day—each plays a vital role.

Let’s also celebrate our fruit and vegetable farmers, the urban growers transforming small spaces into green havens, and the young farmers who are shaping the future of agriculture with passion and innovation.

This Farmers’ Day, let’s show our support—buy local, eat local, and thank a farmer!
