「傳說人離世後,
要沿著走過的路,
把一生留下的腳印一個一個拾起。」
故事讓人想起
自己曾經走過的某一段路。
於是用身體留下印記,
讓某個瞬間
停在一張紙上。
印記被翻製,
變成可以被拿起的重量。
然後人們坐下來,
把自己的故事寫下來。
於是故事、身體、物件與文字,
慢慢被放到同一個地方。
“There is a legend that after death,
one must walk the paths once taken,
picking up every footprint left behind in a lifetime.”
Stories make people remember
a path they once walked.
So they leave imprints with their bodies,
letting a moment
remain on a sheet of paper.
The imprint is cast,
becoming a weight that can be held.
Then they sit down
and write their own stories.
Stories, bodies, objects, and words
slowly come to rest in the same place.
