Keeping the cold chain tight.

These pallets are fully pre-cooled in our cold room until the fruit reaches the correct internal temperature. Only then do we palletize and load. The container itself is also pre-cooled before loading.

This step is critical for shelf life and quality. If you rush the cold chain, you lose the fruit. Simple as that.

Pruning and canopy management are the key to a healthy, thriving tree! 🌳✨

This short and wide avocado tree at Tova Farms shows the power of topping and pruning in the early years. By cutting the main stem early (topping), the tree is encouraged to grow laterally outward instead of thin and upward, creating strong wide branches and a better overall structure.

Now this tree has 3-4 well-separated branches, allowing plenty of sunlight and airflow through the canopy. 🌞💨 That helps reduce disease pressure, improves fruit development, and makes harvesting much easier!

A well-shaped tree is not just prettier — it is healthier, stronger, and more productive for the long term.
