White Helmets Boda Initiative is an association of Boda Boda operators in Kampala who have come together to form a social enterprise brand that will help them offer cargo delivery services to Ugandans during the COVID- 19 pandemic and hopefully beyond.

We now deliver food stuffs including fresh vegetables from Nakasero Market plus a list of other dry foods like Rice, Maize flour, Sugar and Irish Potatoes is packages of 5kg, 10kg, 25kg and 50kg at wholesale prices. Delivery around Kampala is free. We get paid by the suppliers.

As a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions instituted by the Government of Uganda, Boda Boda Operators were banned from carrying passengers and only restricted to carrying cargo.

With financial assistance and technical advise from PRO-Business Africa Limited a financial institution based in Uganda, Boda Boda operators in Kampala and Wakiso have formed a non-profit social enterprise in the names of WHITE HELMET BODA INITIATIVE LIMITED, a legally registered and incorporated association to create a brand under which they will collectively offer cargo delivery services.

These services will be available from 8am to 4pm, Monday - Saturday.
