D&G Community Social Services is a social program designed to address a social objective. The objective is to address most of the existing social problems in the below sectors of education, health, water and sanitation ,environment among many others which have continuously threatened people in the Kigezi region. The above will be achieved using engagement tools like the community score card app
roach .The CSC tool is to help communities to identify and share their experiences, identify priority areas for improvement as well as roles and contributions they can make towards improving the available situation. This will be used in all the above mentioned sectors and involving all members of the community. Where need be, the local and sub county leaders will be involved to support on those specific issues that communities may not be able to address themselves. The program and all its activities are embedded in the African philosophy of "UBUNTU" – “I Am because We Are” – which means that you cannot feel better unless others get better - we are bound together, we fall together and we rise together.
