Lots of fussing about beef these days! It's easy buy direct from a ranch ...too many gimics on a national and local level!! Know where your beef comes from and how it was raised...ask questions..lots of questions!!

Weaned calves....slow and easy! No roping,dragging or hollering! Cows and calves get vaccinations and end up in different pastures. They are separated by a fence where they can see,smell,touch but the milk wagon is gone!!!

Every time I ride past a water trough I am tempted to jump in! It is hot for sure! Lots of smoke and mirrors right now with imported beef....now more than ever know where your beef comes from and how it was raised. Premium Angus genetics and premium forages yields premium beef! On corn in feedlots cattle grading choice/prime has become the norm more than the exception. We do it on grass and this is not common at all!! If you are gonna make the healthy protein choice and choose grassfed beef....you might as well get some with marbling that is tender, flavorful and healthy!
