It’s time to set up breeding pens! I hatched 0 snowys last year. My drakes are beautiful, but they are older and have never been aggressive breeders. Thanks to Eddie Cline, I now have a new drake. The best bonus is that he carries the same line as my birds!
I’m going to try something different this year. This drake is going to rotate between these hens. They will be in side by side pens that are separated by hardware cloth with 2 hens on each side. Since they can all see each other, I’m hoping this will go smoothly. I’m also doing this with my butterscotch.
I hope to get a hen back to Eddie in the fall.

We had a lot of fun at the Peachstate show in Perry, GA yesterday. Birds did very well especially the grays. The gray cockerel had a BV and RV in the double show. My gray hen was RV to the cockerel. Also had a BV and RV with a snowy. It was fun to talk call ducks with Eddie and Amanda. Congratulations to all the winners.

I love finding these gems while sorting. He was quickly upgraded to the keeper pen. I have sent pics out to everyone on my list. If I missed you please message me. I only have grays. My other colors have been spoken for. A few thing to keep in mind:
1. I can deliver to the Ohio National, possibly the Anderson, SC show, birds can be picked up at the farm, or I can work with your transporter (within reason). No shipping.
2. Birds are line bred and ready to work for you in the spring.
3. They are FCFS. Birds are only secured with a deposit.
4. Priced on quality. Straight up breeders are cheaper. I did keep birds from this pen. People tend to hesitate on these birds, but these hens will lay better than the smaller birds. They all carry the same genetics and come out of the same matings.
5. I can send pics within reason. I believe that you deserve to see what you are paying for, but some of the pic requests can get out of control🤦‍♀️
