After our unexpected closure, we are back!! July is peak daylily season here on the Washington coast and the daylilies are putting on a show!

07/08/2023

Well, we were open today Friday July 7th, however it took quite a toll on Monte, so we will need to close for the balance of this weekend, Saturday July 8th and Sunday July 9th. If there is something you need, please message us and we will do our best to make arrangements with you.
The daylilies are just starting to bloom and will continue to do so for several weeks so there will be plenty of time to stroll through the fields and see the wide variety of blooms. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Just a reminder...we will be closed today June 30, 2023 through Sunday July 2, 2023. We will be open as usual beginning...

I am not a lazy gardener. I am an exhausted one! A way to cut down on work is to cut your mature cabbage just below the flesh. Leave the stem and roots in the soil and watch what happens!

There will be multiple baby cabbage nodes that will grow to be solid softball-sized fruits! Perfect for adding to a stir fry or salad.

Picture #1 is just after I cut a Katarina cabbage .
The 2nd picture is another Katrina that had 10 baby plants which I reduced to 5 in order to get a usable size.

This has worked on all of the varieties I grow including Katarina, Golden Acre, Tiara and Ruby Ball. Waiting to try it on Early Jersey Wakefield

A big thank you to whoever left the treasures at our gate the other day. Very much appreciated! And as a reminder, if anyone should have any vases or pots to recycle, we would gladly welcome them.

What a strange couple of days. A full moon, low temperatures and big wind sucked the life out of several dahlias. Yet a dahlia, right next to an affected row was fine. Luckily the cole crops are doing great and the dahlias will recover. Just a little later.

Loved the lilies of course, they also have Dahlias, Lucifer, Daisies, yellow raspberries, Strawberries, thornless blackberries I believe and more. Guinea fowl and chickens too to make a fuss over. The owners were absolutely wonderful. And their sweet kitty too. We will be going back!! 💚🌷🌻🌷💚
When is the best time to come and see the most day lillies in bloom???
Thank you so much for your hospitality! My mom and I had so much fun when we came to visit the farm! We will for sure be back for more lilys next season! You have a beautiful farm, and I can't wait to meet next years hens, they are so cute!
I had the pleasure of stopping in June, 2015 for my first visit to the Pacific Northwest in 12 years. Pleasantly refreshing. I highly recommend visiting!
Thank you for these beautiful bouquets all for under $20! So very fragrant!
Thanks for the picture and your hospitality!
All my Lily's that I have purchased the last two years are all blooming and gorgeous!!
Last July my fiance and I took a cruise to Alaska, while in Juneau we tied the knot. When we retured home we put on a small BBQ to celabrate our marrige. We purchased our flowers from Lily Lane Farms. All they had, in season, was Dahlias no Lilys :( But to my great suprise they were all that I needed. So if you think all they sell is Lilys you will be greatly rewarded to see all that she has to offer. I'm posting a few pictures from the beautiful flower chandeliers that we hung from the trees. Thanks Loni :)
