Part time help needed on my 80 acre hobby farm in Wren Mississippi. Lodging a possibility. Age, gender, race not a factor. Must be dependable and honest, productive and be able to work unsupervised. Some work is easy, some is hard. Some pleasant and enjoyable, some not. It’s a farm. Possibility of full time for the right person.

Wren Village Boer Goats is reviving our loaner goat program. This is for local youths who want to show goats but do not have the resources to own the animals. The animal is housed and cared for on our farm, the youth may visit/train the animal during daylight hours 7 days a week by appointment in a designated area. Adult supervision and sign in/sign out required. Cages will be provided for the participant to transport the goat to/from shows. Contract and release of liability required by Parent/Guardian. Any participant violating farm rules and jeopardizing our insurance will be terminated from the program.

WARNING: These doe goats are not for sale. Tremendous attachment between participant and goat may occur. They will not be for sale at a later date no matter how much begging or tears being shed. Each of these animals have one or more exceptional quality and were selected for our future breading stock.

This post is for C.J. The group of 8 is $1,200. If you want to pick and choose price for each will change. The black/white ones are from EXCELLENT family lines. The one red/black you looked at and I explained. One red/white is superb. The other red/white and solid red is from a very good family line, their hooves grow faster than most and will need more attention-good weight and parasite resistance. Boer percentage ranges from 74% to 99%. If you want them tattooed and paperwork, add $20 a head. You can bring them back later for tattooing and the paperwork if you decline now.

2018 older version.

2018 Model year closeout. Young bucks not gone by Sep 15 will go in the freezer. Black head is 99% purebred Boer. Solid black is 74% Boer 25% Spanish. Born 1st week of April 2018.
The Black Head correct is sold.

One of my friends and customers asked me today how did I get a 250 pound billy goat to stand still so I could clean his injured ears and give him shots. Day 1 he was nice enough to stand and let me do it, days 2-7 he was cross-tied with two ratchet straps. Hopefully tomorrow he goes back to the pasture.
