Maryland’s Governor has proposed to make a permanent decrease in funding to community colleges. This decrease would cost CCBC $4.5 million per year. It would result in increased tuition to students if it passed. Please consider signing our petition against this measure and passing this along to friends and family.

A dear friend of mine, Brooke Bognanni, lost her mother to heart disease and herself has struggled with heart problems - she is a local Baltimore girl. Please consider donating to the American Heart Association - here is her story- Brooke is being honored in Time magazine for her volunteer work with the American Heart Association.

The Blue Cooler Special at the Havre de Grace Farmers Market on November 18 is Boneless Hams - $4.89/lb - save over $2.00/lb. We have larger roasts for slicing -pair with turkey on Thanksgiving AND smaller pieces perfect for green beans, soups, scalloped potatoes, greens, etc.

For those of you who want to cure and smoke your own ham - we also have bone-in fresh hams - uncured, unsmoked at $4.89/lb.
