Some beautiful flowers on the farm and pollinators abound!!! We transplanted some dogwoods and planted some hydrangeas too! Perennial Hibiscus, alliums, Russian sage and nasturtiums are showing their beauty 🥰🥰🥰

Well, last week we lost some of our chickens to a predator. So we got 6 little chicks! We’ve had to silkie girls who basically go broody all summer, so we slipped the chicks underneath these two ladies separately. Jon Hanson put up a structure where the chicks could escape any pecky hens if needed. We checked on them several times and the two ladies are raising the bunch together!! They moved out of the nesting boxes onto the floor so the can protect their chicks! Love is love 🌈 ❤️ and we are happy to see them guarding their babies!!
