Sad to announce that we won’t be opening Sita’s Cellar! I have learned so much working through all of this and I definitely plan to try again if/when things go back to normal!!!

Sometimes dreams come true, they flourish before you and take on wings! Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes the world changes and what was a beautiful idea becomes impossible. With everything happening in our world today Sita’s Cellar will not be moving forward. We desperately tried to wait out the bar shutdowns but in light of the governors mandates we will try again if life goes back to normal! No one has been untouched by COVID-19. None have escaped this invisible virus, the shutdowns, illness and the complete isolation. We will overcome this! And WE WILL try again!

Today is the first day we can’t congregate together. Today is the first day we can’t gather to enjoy a meal larger than 10. Today we can’t enjoy that coffee with our friend that we don’t get to see much. Today we can’t sip on a glass of wine with our”tribe”. Today we can’t enjoy any game with the guys over a beer. As I drove through the quiet downtown, all the vacant streets hit me hard. Although Sita’s is not affected by this because we aren’t open yet, I’m not gonna lie it made me want to cry but instead I want to remind y’all of something. Small businesses are the backbone of America, entrepreneurs make this country a better place and these next few weeks could kill them. So consider going out of your way to support them! Buy a gift card or order to go if that’s an option! Big companies will make it through this but your neighbor might not! So as we spend our money remember them, remember how much you enjoyed their service, let’s band together to keep their hopes and dreams alive during these very uncertain times! SHOP LOCAL!
