This healthy, muscle-bound specimen (the one on the right) is headed to the processor next month, and at least one quarter will be available for delivery a couple weeks after. Message for more information.

We at Flying Pi Cattle Company last month took this handsome steer (No. 1) to the processor and now have a couple more quarters of grass-raised, zero hormone beef for sale. It was about 720 pounds at slaughter.

We're asking for $550/quarter, which is $5.5 per pound on the hanging weight of the carcass, which was total 440 pounds. What you get is about 57.5 pounds of grass- and hay-fed, hormone-free angus beef. Open to selling 1/8ths, but that's just slightly more complicated.
