More than 200 points LEAD. Period.

It’s safe to say after his win at the Brazos Bash, LBR Hangem 'Shotty' has become unbeatable on the 2026 Open Horse of the Year (HOTY) Chart with a more than 200 point lead. Shotty has had an incredible year with Kenny Platt Cutting Horses, consistently marking huge scores and wins throughout the whole season. It is rare for a horse to come out of the 5/6-Year-Old division and command such a lead on this chart, and that makes this accomplishment even more noteworthy in our eyes. We want to congratulate The Shotty Syndicate, Solo Select Horses, Kenny and this talented horse’s whole team for an exceptional season. Please remember these results and numbers are calculated in house at PHC and technically unofficial. You can see the full chart at https://performancehorsecentral.com/stats/
