🥰These are happy pictures shared and I truly cherish them and those moments— and they make the tough moments of the evening/day worth it!
But just a reminder and felt the need to share- while the photos on my IG/FB are sweet and smiles— the evening was not all sweet and smiles! But we don’t have our camera out for those moments do we?
This photo was bedtime- and even during this it wasn’t all sweet and cuddly- Abilene was being super silly and rough on her sister moments after this!
Abilene was difficult this evening- in spirts- because as you see in the second picture she was helpful and loving too!
Last night involved lots of messes, redirection, and discipline. This Mama was frustrated a lot of the evening trying to navigate a strong willed, emotional 3 year old & a full of energy goes everywhere 1 year old && get the farm stuff done that needed done while allowing them to learn and have fun.
Bed time consisted of sillies for Abilene and not wanting to go to sleep- and spilled milk all over Hadleigh Jane PJS because I guess I didn’t clasp the lid just right and we had to change 🙃
And then after they were in bed a goat got it’s head stuck in the fence and the horse tried to help get it out😳… my lights I was using while picking the garden both died && Abilene fought sleep in her bed for way too long 🙈.
All that to say— yes my pictures are normally of those special moments and when there is smiles or cute moments happening. But please remember that there is a lot more in someone’s day then the one sweet picture they share! Hang in there Mama, or Dada, farmer, stay at home mama , working mama, whatever it is! We all have our struggles/difficulties we are navigating each day- but still take those pictures of the sweet smiley times and use those when your frustrated - because it’s all worth it and even when you don’t feel like your doing great, you are 🩷 Parenting, farming, working, juggling all the things you are is tough- but you can do it! 💪🏼😘 and know others are dealing with things too even tho there social media doesn’t“look” like it😉
