Hello, Abingdon!

Thank you so much for your excitement and warmth over these last several weeks about our new ownership of Wolf Hills Brewing Co. and for coming out to meet us and encourage us in person.

We love this town and can’t wait to show you a revived 149 Deadmore St.

We have a website coming. In the meantime, please stay tuned on instagram and facebook for info about our grand opening, which will take place Saturday, July 29 at 1pm.

Thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend to celebrate Wolf Hills and the impact it has made on this town and the region for the last 14 years.

Many memories made over those years, but also many more to be made in this characterful space. We hope you will now give a follow to Sweetbay Brewing Company and make them a staple for your local craft beer needs. Cheers!

Today is the day—please come join us in saying a very fond farewell to an institution, Wolf Hills Brewing Company.

It is an important day in which we are remembering with gratitude what has come before, but while also looking ahead to good things that are coming.

Post Bop Revival is with us today sending jazz/funk/fusion into the rafters, out the windows, and beyond. The local craft beer is pouring.

Hello Abingdon Friends,

From our hearts, we thank you for welcoming us to this community as the new owners of your beloved Wolf Hills Brewing. Your warmth and encouragement in the last few weeks has made a mark that will be remembered and cherished by our family for many years.

Leanne and I are honored to be in this space on Deadmore Street, and we aim to do it justice. To that point, we want to make you, our community, aware that Sunday, July 9, 2023, will be our final open-for-business day as Wolf Hills Brewing Company. As we alluded to in our first post on June 1, we will shut down for a week or two while we paint, deep clean, refinish these hardwood floors, move in some new furniture, install some more greenery (!), and get some new beers on tap (!!!), ahead of our grand opening in late July.

Over the next couple of weeks and while supplies last, we invite you to come down and take advantage of our Wolf Hills Now & Later Draft Deal:

For $20 (plus tax), you get a growler of any beer to-go, plus a pour of any beer to enjoy on-site–and you keep the glass!

We also have sixtel kegs of Honey Cream Ale and For Science! available for purchase.

We are excited to invite you back to a new and rejuvenated taproom here at 149 Deadmore St. that honors and reminisces on its illustrious history, while making room for new memories, connections, and friends–it really does take a village.
