About to write the hardest post I've ever had to write. This past Saturday we laid my best friend to rest. Jackson, my sweet boy, the best dog I've ever seen, best damn bird dog ever, and a friend to many of you, is gone. My family, Katy and I are still on shock over this, it was way too soon for him to part this world.
Jackson lived the best life of any dog I've ever known, he met hundreds of thousands of people at the winery, traveled the country by planes, trains, boats, tractors and trucks. He stayed in 100's of hotels, was the only dog ever let into water parks and restaunts, hunted hundreds of days doing what he did best, and ate better than most humans.
The joy he brought to my family, friends and strangers will be missed so much, a beautiful light has left this world, he will forever be missed. My poor sweet boy...
