When I learned that my business partners said we needed to close I was devastated. I wasn't ready to give up yet. I felt like everything I had worked so hard for was being taken from me. I have since come to agree and fully support the decision. The business simply isn't financially viable. While trying to sort through all the emotions and thoughts I have come to find that relief and excitement are some of them. I think somewhere along the line I got stuck in the struggles of keeping it going that I never really stepped back to ask myself if I should. While the future can be a scary place I have also learned it can be an exciting one. I have no idea where I will end up or what I'll be doing (besides baking of course). But there are possibilities and options to explore.
